Losing a job is never an easy experience to go through. Colorado residents may be interested in a class-action lawsuit currently taking place in another area. Reports stated that the lawsuit was filed by nine former Whole Foods managers. The individuals were reportedly dismissed from their jobs after an internal investigation stemming from company claims that the managers had been stealing bonuses from workers. However, the fired managers claim that the investigation was a sham.
The former managers reported that their dismissals were retaliation for blowing the whistle on wage theft committed by Whole Foods. They believed that the theft occurred as the company did not pay bonuses to employees even after they were earned. Their lawsuit was recently filed, and the individuals are each seeking $25 million in damages for wrongful termination and defamation.
The dismissal from an employment position can often mean more than simply the loss of a job.
