Ms. McLeod is a dedicated attorney at The Litigation Boutique, licensed to practice law in Colorado. She has experience in employment law, including representing clients in cases of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended (“Title VII”); the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended by the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 (together, the “ADA”); the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, as amended, 29 U.S.C. § 621 et seq. (“ADEA”); and the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act, Colo. Rev. Stat. § 24-34-401 et seq. (“CADA”), as well as claims based on the Colorado Wage Claim Act and wrongful discharge in violation of public policy. Ms. McLeod also successfully assists individuals in obtaining unemployment benefits and defends employers against wrongfully claimed benefits.
Before her legal career, Ms. McLeod worked as a land technician in the oil and gas industry. During law school, she actively participated in the Environmental Law Clinic’s Oil and Gas team, aiding marginalized communities in disputes against oil and gas companies and the Colorado Oil and Gas Commission (“COGCC”). Her efforts also extended to assisting with drafting new COGCC rules pursuant to SB-181.
Ms. McLeod’s commitment to serving the community is demonstrated through her volunteer work with Metro Volunteer Lawyers and its Family Law Court Program, where she provides essential legal services to those in need.
Previously, Ms. McLeod served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Karen Brody in the Denver District Court. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing from the University of Colorado and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
